Linda’s passion for film started when she first volunteered for the Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival 26 years ago. After serving in a variety of positions (Box Office Manager, Programming Chair and Operations Chair), she was hired on as the first Festival Director in 2000. Today Linda serves as the Executive Director of what is now Rocky Mountain Women’s Film, overseeing year round programming with three employees, an active Board of Directors and a highly dedicated corps of volunteers. In addition to the festival in November, RMWF hosts three annual events as well as a Filmmakers Retreat every June. This year marks the 33rd anniversary of the Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival, making it the longest-running women’s film festival in North America. Linda currently serves on the Board of the Film Festival Alliance, the only professional organization for film festivals world-wide and the people who run them.
