A young upstart on the Colorado scene, Russell Keller has already established himself as a local comedy staple, regularly performing at both Loonees Comedy Corner and 3Es Comedy Club. Born and raised in the Springs, Russell started his comedy journey after a screenwriting professor told him a script of his wasn’t very funny – out of spite, the very next day he signed up for the open mic at Loonees and has been hitting the stage up and down I-25 ever since! Although he performs clean, Russell is not afraid to tackle topics like race, mental health, and way too many jokes about milk for some reason, all while bringing a warm joyful presence to the stage. Make sure you check out Russell’s monthly showcase, The Pikes Punks Comedy Show – the biggest independent comedy show in the Springs – on the last Saturday of every month at The Public House located on N. Nevada in the historic Alexander building.
