Award-winning singer-songwriter Edie Carey has been singing at festivals, colleges, and listening rooms across the US, Canada, and Europe since 1999, performing alongside Sara Bareilles, Brandi Carlile, Emmylou Harris, Lyle Lovett, and Shawn Mullins. She’s also been a featured artist on PRI’s Mountain Stage. She’s appeared at Telluride Bluegrass, Rocky Mountain Folks, Newport Folk, 30A Songwriters, and Cayamo. She released her 9th album, Paper Rings: 8 love stories, in February 2016. Her prior release, a duo lullabies project with Sarah Sample, garnered several children’s music awards, including Best Children’s Album in the 2014 Independent Music Awards. She recently lent her voice to two of the tracks on Joanie Leeds’ 2020 Grammy-winning album All The Ladies. She is currently at work on her 10th album, “The Veil,” which is slated for release in 2022.

This October, arts & culture takes center stage throughout Colorado Springs and across the Pikes Peak region, as our creative community celebrates Arts Month 2021!
Orchestrated annually by the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, Arts Month elevates the visibility of arts & culture across El Paso and Teller Counties by showcasing local talent, providing opportunities for arts advocacy, supporting innovative cross-sector community collaborations, and creating new avenues for arts engagement and cultural enrichment.
