Trip Uhalt started doing standup comedy at Jeff Valdez’ Comedy Corner here in Colorado Springs in the mid-80’s. He’s opened for Sinbad, Judy Tenuta, Pat Paulson, Jeff Allen, and more. He stepped away from professional comedy to start a career in broadcasting. Uhalt has produced thousands of TV commercials and done documentaries around the world, chronicling the life of Jesus and the Apostles. He also owns and runs Spot On Productions, a multimedia production company, and teaches multimedia and broadcasting at UCCS and PPCC part time as well. Trip started Oxymorons Comedy in September 2018. They are an award-winning, clean and family friendly, Christ following, standup and improv comedy group dedicated to putting the “joy of the Lord” in people’s hearts and raising money for charities; demonstrating at every laugh-filled show that God is not just the God of “thou shalt nots” but also of great joy, love, Grace, forgiveness and Salvation through His Son, Jesus.
