First Friday Walking Tour
In celebration of Arts Month 2022, the local Cosplay community will host a walking tour during First Friday on October 7, from 5-9PM. Local galleries will welcome us with drinks, snacks, and a tour of their new gallery exhibition.
We typically stay for about 10-15 minutes at each location, and then walk to the next destination. We’ll start and end our walking tour at the downtown American Legion Post 5 with complimentary salad bar and a cash bar for drinks to enjoy the art show and the rest of the evening in good company.
Rain, snow, or shine, we’ll be enjoying the artwalk, Colorado Cosplay Style (cosplay not required, but highly encouraged)! For questions, email Lynda@lyndacink.com.
I have always loved art and dabbled in multiple media. Dungeons & Dragons got me started drawing regularly back in the ’70s. I pursued a degree in Aerospace Engineering in part to design beautiful aircraft and spacecraft including the art of design. 25 years in the military was spent always trying to be creative – I achieved one life goal of working on a deep space project, NASA’s New Horizons, as a competitively selected military officer. Following retirement from the military, I worked as a contractor but also began pursuing traditional art again. I became involved in cosplay as one pursuit, woodworking as another, and photography as my most current pursuit. — Robrecht Berg
